Crash Landing On You
‍
If you like romance and drama with a sprinkle of humor, this one would be the perfect one for you to watch. It is about a South Korean rich business woman who accidentally lands in a Northern Korean military camp with no way to get back to her normal life. She meets a group of soldiers in the camp who help her hide away until they can send her back home. During her stay at one of the soldiers' houses she falls in love with him. For me personally it was a very heartbreaking story and made me tear up in a lot of the scenes, however I find this to be one of the most beautifully written and directed shows out there.Â

It’s Okay To Not Be OkayÂ
‍
This Netflix special was one of the most elaborate written shows I’ve ever seen. It is about a children's story writer who is also a bit psychotic. She holds a lot of painful childhood trauma which she then later has to face when she meets her childhood lover by accident. Together they both unravel their tramas through figuring out the murder both their parents were involved in. This show has many twists and turns, and personally I loved the character development in the main lead, it brought depth to not only her character but to the rest of the characters in the show as well which made it that much more real.Â

The King’s AffectionÂ
‍
I would best describe this show as a TV-Show version of Mulan. This show has romance, drama, action and humor. It starts off when two twin babies are born, one boy and one girl, the crown king tells the queen to get rid of the baby girl and only keep the boy as his heir. However, the girl is kept alive in secret and sent away, she later then returns to the palace and switches places with her brother as the “crown prince”, she has to keep up this lie or else she dies along with everyone who has helped her survive. She later meets the little boy she fell in love with in the palace as the crown prince and must hide her feelings. This show is really swoonworthy, there are many moments in the show that would make you wish that you were watching it with someone.     Â
